The business line rings ... you answer ... what's the best news you could hear?

Your book's a best seller? You're the top salesperson?

Some WAHM dreams . . .

That IBM, American Express, and Mail Boxes Etc. all wanted to sponsor our radio show for a ridiculous amount of money.... and 30 new radio affiliates started carrying the show!

At this point, the best news I can imagine hearing is that a publisher wants me to write a series of books. HOWEVER, the best news I can realistically expect to hear in the near future is that one of my clients (I work for editors and art editors) has passed my name on to someone else. I find the biggest challenge of being a work at home mom generating new business. It's harder for me to allot time to that end of the business. Also, it's the scariest part - introducing yourself, even if it's through the mail or over the phone.

Actually, I wish it was my husband calling to say we won the lottery instead of - I am going to be late tonight! But, I would be just as pleased to have a caller offering me a contract position for top wages and the work could be done at my own place and pace. (Rush jobs and being a WAHM is nearly impossible!)

The editor informing me the book is going softcover and the publishing company is going to send me on a book tour. I would also lead women's retreats and conferences. It's just a matter of when it'll happen!!

The best news that I could hear is someone offering to buy my business for a ton of money. And in this fantasy of mine, I politely tell them, "it's not for sale!"

My paintings have all sold!!
